I’ve never met him in person but have considered him an internet friend for over 10 years primarily here and over at the NOM board.
It’s a sad day for the Mormon internet universe. He was a staple of humor and wisdom across many discussion forums, often accompanied by a Google search to know what the hell he was referring to.
Rest in peace my dear penguin! Your humor was certainly loved by me and your kindness, wit, and love for understanding the nuance of being a Mormon will be missed.

I’m surprised and sad. Moksha seemed permanent, the eternal quipper. But nothing lasts in this world.
We only saw a small part of him, but I think he cheered people up with his chuckles—or mystified them, which was fine, too.

Moksha showed us that it was possible to be clever, perceptive, and always kind. What a rare example for all of us! Like all of us, he had a beginning, a middle and an end. But we are fortunate, and can smile at our memories of him. Each time we post, we should ask what he would think, and perhaps pause before we go in with all guns blasting.

I'm not sure if Moksha believed in the soul and a here-after, but I think that that was his inclination. So, here's hoping the system allows for people to get what they want and Moksha is living it up in the great Rookery in the sky.

I'm sad to hear that!Everybody Wang Chung wrote: ↑Sun Nov 02, 2025 10:22 pmTo protect his family from the malicious attention of DCP, Midgley, and others who have repeatedly degraded and publicly mocked him, I will not be posting the obituary or any identifying information.
Moksha's humor was unique and his passing will leave a sad silence. Known for his sharp wit and jests that could effortlessly lighten the mood or spark a flurry of replies, he was a beloved fixture of our community. While most here will remember him for his online humor that brought smiles to many, the true measure of Moksha was the enduring love and pride he held for his children and grandchildren, a profound and honorable legacy that he leaves behind.
He brought light and laughter to this corner of the internet. My thoughts are with his children and grandchildren. Rest well, Penguin.

Very sad to learn of this. Moksha brought more than a few smiles and the impact of his witty contributions extended well beyond this humble board. Rest in peace, peaceful penguin.
