The King of Excommunications

This may have already been discussed here, but I ran across this podcast of RFM when looking for something totally different to listen to on my commute to work. It seems there will likely be an upward surge of excommunications, that is, if RFM is correct, and if bishops and stake presidents are compliant with the communication sent from President Oaks.

RFM's Day of Reckoning

It's incredible he has not yet been excommunicated. That day surely must be coming. Never in my imagination did I think he would survive this long. It defies all precedent.

I’m a fan of RFM, but he points to a few individual cases—three women who were disciplined or threatened with discipline—as suggesting that excommunications may have increased since 2022. Even accepting that the slideshow he references was real (which I do), that seems like far too small a sample to meaningfully support the implication. Is there any broader evidence that excommunications have actually increased, and if so, how significant is the change?

I took it as a future increase.
