April 2026 General Conference, as gender unequal as ever.
The numbers prove it. April 2026 General Conference saw 33 people give talks. 3 of them were women - that's not even 1 per conference session. 30 of them were men. Zero progress.

We often hear talks about how the church can’t function without its sisters, but as your tally clearly shows, the church can certainly speak without them for about 91% of the time.
It turns out that telling women they are spiritually superior while giving them only 9% of the microphone time isn’t really a great strategy. Is it any wonder so many women are leaving?
