At this point, it appears that even the Proprietor has lost interest in the Bowdlerizing Brigham series. On Monday evening, he posted a link to episode 10 of the series on his blog:

Episode 10 of Becoming Brigham (“Gifts and Prophecies”) is now up for your viewing enjoyment. I hope that you’ll take a look and that, if you feel able to do so, you’ll call it to the attention of others.

Several days have passed since the Proprietor posted the link. Remarkably, none of his faithful readers have alerted him to the fact that the link is bad. Folks, you just can’t make this up!

I wonder why the Proprietor chooses to bury some links to Bowdlerizing Brigham episodes well down the page of his SeN posts. That’s poor promotion. I understood that one of SeN’s key purposes was to promote the Interpreter Foundation. Is he trying to undermine his own production? If so, why? Frankly, I am bemused by his decision-making. It may be time to pull the plug on this series.

One interesting thing I’ve learned from all these videos of Dan talking in a chair is that he never wears his wedding ring.

In fact a quick skim of YouTube shows he hasn’t worn it on camera in decades. Metal allergy perhaps?

I'm happy to discover that Bowdlerizing Brigham has reached enough views to be added to the popular youtube tracking website, Social Blade.



Dan will be happy to know he passed, by the skin of his teeth with a glorious C- rating!

As the channel continues to fumble forward, we should see some nice pretty graphs of the views and subscribers over time.




For comparison, here's what a popular ex-Mormon youtuber looks like - and I don't think she's contracted any film companies to produce her videos for millions of dollars. I believe she essentially puts her iPhone on a tripod and films.




Maybe the truth has a way of naturally resonating with people and doesn't need any "audio sweetening" or "color correction" to be successful...

I wonder why Dehlin was first in the church’s cross hairs for lawsuits. Alyssa has far more reach than Dehlin . My guess would be that Dehlin has irritated the church far longer and Oak's reign brought the perfect opportunity. I doubt it was Oak's idea either I don't think his cognitive abilities are up to par anymore. Probably the church’s war room with middle men grinding an ax for decades.
