And I'm still sticking with Dick Cheney for Pahoran. I just read the entertaining "why doesn't God heal amputees" thread on MAD. (a MUST read thread)

The context:
Hammer claimed:
Not really. I know a guy who had his foot crushed by being run over by a hugh ground mover. When he was at the hospital they were in the process of preping him for surgery. The elders were called and gave him a blessing that he would not lose the foot and that it would be completely healed.
The doctors were in the room as were some nurses and the elders. They all watched as the foot regained its form and was made whole. That isn't remission, that is major reconstruction.
Then later he said:
It happened in Hawaii 30 + years ago-- I was the elder who pronounced the blessing. I witnessed the miracle-- the native members, one of which was the man healed, claimed I was another Mathew Calley. I was the instrument in several such blessings on the Island. Don't worry Bra, I can't come up with all the names, but if you request a special viewing of my life's experiences after this life--- maybe the Good Lord will see fit to let you see what wonders He does perform here.
Jaybear:
As for the basis for our cynicism, its not because we skeptics and anti-mormons are inherently dishonest,
Pahoran:
Oh yes it is.
For that reason and no other.
Jaybear:
its because in the entire history of man, there has not been one documented verified miracle.
Pahoran:
Oh yes there have been. Many of them.
When I read this, all I can hear is Dick Cheney telling Chris Matthews that he NEVER said "X, Y, or Z" and then seeing a clip of Cheney saying "X, Y and Z'.
Or a reporter telling Cheney we found no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and Cheney saying "OH yes we did".
You can't make this stuff up.
