Maybe they really think that I'm so God damned stupid, that if I were to troll their board, I'd just register as my name over here. As if I'd give them the satisfaction of banning me now after I escaped ever being queued or banned when I did post over there as Sidewinder. I also wouldn't use an av as a hot chick. I only use avs that I make myself in powerpoint that have subliminal messages encouraging apostasy and worship of Satan.
They ought to consider, that in the many years and hundreds or thousands of usernames that have been registered on MDB/FAIR, that someone somewhere also might pick "gadianton". It's only a little less obvious than "Nephi" or "Lamen".
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

Maybe you think they're dumb enough to think that you think they're dumb enough not to think that this sort of second guessing is prone to infinite regress wereupon you could laugh for hiding in plain site. But now I think the late hour has made me dumb enough to think that maybe you think they're dumb enough to think that you think they're dumb enough not to think that this sort of second guessing is prone to infinite regress wereupon you could laugh for hiding in plain site, when in fact it turns out that hiding in plain site would include a Satanic AV you make yourself in powerpoint.
I think I thought that I may have considered always contemplating whether I wish I knew what the old Sidewinder avatar actually meant. SI DE WI ND ER around the edges with a pentagram. I don't know if it got me into satan worship, but I sure wanted to go play a few video games with a particular gamepad everytime I thought of that name.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy.

Gotta love this one from jadams_4040:
So, he too has the world's strongest, and I mean strongest, testimony, eh? And yet he too has never actually read the whole book? That's just too funny for words, considering some of the exchanges I've had with him in the past. He's got the strongest testimony, alright. If by "strong testimony" you mean he stubbornly believes what he believes, but is essentially ignorant of what it is he actually believes, or why he believes it. It's almost like his mommy or daddy (whom he loves) is still there, in spirit, whispering his testimony in his ear, like they did oh so long ago.
Ya know what? i have never sat down an read it in its entirety either. Just verses and sometimes chapters
over many years. and its very hard for some of us to follow along and put things into a "story" format
in our mind, so do not feel bad or ashamed or embaressed, i too have the worlds strongest testimomy,
And i do mean the worlds strongest, And i beleive that people as us will in time be given the wisdom and
understanding and strengh as we need it, to read what we need to read and understand what we need to
understand. Just take things as you can handle them, you don't need to make excuses, you are ok! [emphasis added]

Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
You know though, someone here (or there, I forget) did point out that many individuals within the church have never read the Book of Mormon before (I, not being one of those). So, Gad over there is in good company by admitting such things. Also, I know "Shakespearian English" is difficult at best for most people to read, and there is only a handful of individuals who can read it and see the poetry behind the words, so to say that they do not understand it, and would like a "new english" translation is not unheard of....
Hrm... Maybe that would be a good blog thingie to do; retranslating the Book of Mormon into modern english?

But I thought that you were being "obvious". Oopsie. :P

And I respect that! :)
