Whoops! What I meant was a Gerald Ford-like presidency, ala the Nixon aftermath.

Why Carter in particular?

Well, to make a very long story short, much of our present predicament in the context of global Islamism dates to actions taken and policies subscribed to in his administration. Carter demolished and demoralized the American military as well as crippled the intelligence community at home. He also bears substantial responsibility for the toppling of the Shah of Iran and the coming to power of the Islamic fundamentalist Mullahs in that country. He is also a rather implacable anti-Semite and vicious opponent of Israel in its long attempt to defend itself from another final solution courtesy of most of its Arab neighbors.

Carter has never, never seen, known of, or met a tyrant, no matter how barbaric, he could not candy coat, whitewash, and even (Arafat) shill for. The one condition is that that tyrant be a left wing tyrant. Once that condition is met, all is warm and fuzzy from that time henceforth.

Since Merc spoke in error, I will sit back and simply marvel at this gratuitous tirade.

Marvel on, because every single statement made in it happens to be true. I didn't think it was a tirade. The general tone seemed to me to be fairly calm and matter of fact, except perhaps for the last paragraph.

I can make that quite a bit dryer it I want, but why? Carter is probably the most egregious national embarrassment this country has ever born, but because of the position of power he occupied and his status as an emeritus holder of that position of power, one of the most dangerous and debilitating as well.

This is a very current thought on talk radio. I've heard it over and over.

LOL! That is hilarious! Can you pull this off at a microphone? Maybe you could give the other showmen of wacko-conservative radio a run for their money! You are tooo good.

Wait, what about the trail of bodies, broken lives, and financial swindles the Clintons left in their wake in their evil pursuit of power? (Cackles fiendishly, Muhahahahaha!!!)

Do you have anything intellectually substantive to say in support of your own positions or in rebuttal to those you disagree with?
