Yes, that's me. I do technical writing just for fun. :)

Seriously, if I had a nickel for every time someone made a joke about my writing movie scores, I'd be a wealthy man. And they always act like they're the first person to come up with such a clever line.

You know your home teaching companion?

My home teaching companion is a 96-year-old man who literally has proposed to every unattached woman over the age of 50 within a 5-mile radius of here. Is that you, LOAP?

I can vouch for LOAP being someone entirely different from the individual you described. A really cute young guy with a knockout wife. I met them at the FAIR conference this summer.

Hey, that describes me and my wife, too! Imagine that!

Not like that, I don't.

She got the knockout wife part right.

It's so funny meeting people from on-line.

Hi, I'm - well - Life On a Plate. And you?
I'm MishMagnet.
Oh yeah, I know you!

That's how it goes, indeed. "YOU'RE mishmash?! Hello!"

"MishMagnet"

I haven't had a home teaching companion for a couple of years. I think my EQP and bishop got together and decided it would be a, quote, "bad idea". :-)
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen
