1. There is the word Gospel in the definition, so it is circular.


just substitute "mathew, mark, luke, john". The word "Kerygma" is good enough for source critics, I think that's good enough.

2. Other definitions generally use "Jesus Christ". Then, what has to do Abraham with the word "gospel".


Everyone knows, as Mormonism teaches us, that it's not anachronistic at all that the New Testament was being quoted thousands of years before it was written.
