Abuse--on the other foot (and why I hate being male)

I think that female teachers should have their feet held to the fire the same as male teachers are when sexual abuse of a child is involved.

These cases where a female teacher seduces a male teen-aged student is never treated with the same severity as when it's the other way around.

Boys go through sexual trauma during these types of situations, too. And because they're boys, they rarely get help.

If a 30 year old male teacher seduces a 16 or 17 year old female student, they are typically locked up for life.

If a 30 year old female teacher seduces a 16 or 17 year old male student, the situation is normally not considered as severe.

This isn't right. Child abuse is child abuse.
