You know Nehor, you sit there and tell me what I have to do in order to become more "respectable" around this place, and yet you can play this game all you want?
Yes, sounds fair to me, glad we agree.
I haven't told you how to be respectable. If I did it would involve removal of the cheap and stupid puns you use. "Lard", "LDS Corporation", etc. I did mention that you had a warped view of the Church when inside it......unless you actually went to the Church of Cheese and Rice of Joseph Worshippers and are on the wrong message board.
"Surely he knows that DCP, The Nehor, Lamanite, and other key apologists..." -Scratch clarifying my status in apologetics "I admit it; I'm a petty, petty man." -Some Schmo
That reminds me, when I was financial clerk, I always had to make missionary payments to "Corporation of the First Presidency". That one never really bothered me. Of course, it wasn't done to show disrespect to the church.
It's as though the simple rule is to be respectful. I guess if one wished to be respectful, they'd know how. Some probably enjoy being disrespectful though.
That's General Leo. He could be my friend if he weren't my enemy. eritis sicut dii I support NCMO

Her elation was short-lived, however. The woman asked whether she was Mormon. When she replied that she was not, the woman apologized and said they were only running essays on Mormon families.
Her daughter, seventh-grader Georgia Clyde, was one of several students whose class essays were sent to the paper by Olympus Junior High School English teacher Jennifer Allred for consideration in its "Christmas I Remember Best" contest.
Pretty typical for the Lard's newspaper. Brigham would be proud.
If they were running essays on "Mormon families" why would they want hers? It's like the time I was turned down for a job modeling woman's clothing just because I was a man. They said I "wasn't what they were looking for." Bigots.

When my family and I lived in Utah, I was disgusted with the bigotry that some Church members seemed to exhibit toward non-members. It was terrible. I just don't understand people sometimes.
When I bought and moved into my first house in 1988, I was inactive. One day I was standing inside my carport when a prominent Mormon mother and two children were walking by on Sunday. The mother said to her children, "Don't even look at that house."
I walked out of the shadow and just glared at her.
Fast forward twenty years. Here I am on the MD boards being accused of being a crappy member who was totally at fault for whatever doctrine I didn't "understand", or for not realizing the "Truth" in what I was being taught was wrong.
I see no difference.
You poor thing.
Your posting of these retorts is a reflection of a lack of understanding.
Strange really. For someone who has a very mechanical view of Theplanof$alvation(TM) I am surprised you do not add more to the discussion other than the textual equivalent of someone cracking a fart after another is trying to rebut what you think you hold dear.
