Not that good.

No.

Pretty please?

No.

I know that your fear is that we will overuse them, and that the message content will go down.

That isn't merely my fear, it is objective, stark reality.

How much further down could we go? LOL

Oh please, don't get me started.

What if we give it a "trial run"?

What's the point of a trial run of suckiness?

If the usage is ridiculous, then you can take them away again?

The usage will indeed be ridiculous, so I'm taking them away before the fact to save us all the hassle.

Fair?

No.

Why not?

Oh, and let me take this opportunity to request an ignore function as well. :)

It is probably because it costs extra. So from now on, we can call you Dr. MacShades.

It doesn't cost extra. All Keene or Shades has to do is click on a link that activates Smileys and we have them.

Shades is being a meanie.

:(

Shades...What about your philosophy that the posters should control the board, and the board should reflect the kind of culture they would like to see here?

(Can't blame a girl for trying.) ;)

The message is clear. If you don't like these :-) you have to do the work and find your own. I am largely content with the occasional imported banana or smiley.

Shades just doesn't want us to spin out of control.

Hell yeah. What was that about the board being what the posters make it? Well the posters demand smilies damnit! Yellow ones, red ones, big ones, small ones. Action ones, inaction ones, attraction ones, infraction ones. Hot ones, cold one, gold ones, bold ones.

I've pleaded, begged, offered enticing payments of one kind and another, all to no avail!

;-)

The ignore function would be nice! ;-)

And a spell checker would come in handy for those of us who type fast, have fingers that work on their own, can't spell, or forget to proof read our posts. Not that this would apply to me or anything... (smile).

Download the google toolbar with built in spell checker. It's AWESOME!!
