I am. But, in my defense -- this board made me chuckle, and was rather amusing, when very little in my life was. So, sort of ashamed of it -- and at the same time not.

Because the word "porn" with a zero and spelled "pron" is a misspelling.

Ohhh come on, "p r 0 n" has been used to spell porn on BBS' for more than a decade. :)

I just did the Math and found that I've accumulated nearly 5,000 posts on various boards the past year or so. Anyone else need to find something more productive to do with their lives?

(Damn 5000 + 1 posts.)

PS TGIF!

No, I'm working on my thousand so I can be a god. Maybe then I'll retire and go inhabit some other planet with spirit babies.

That's what I said when I had 700 or so posts on this board....and here I am with 3500+ plus.

I barely even think about the number of posts I've made. I'm not sure what the real significance of it is.

Of course, I don't feel like I spend too much time here. I do lots of other things.

But I don't begrudge those with high counts nor low counts. People participate in their own way.

Eliot thought of measuring out life in teaspoons. We can measure ours in posts.

A low post count does not necessarily mean one has little time vested in a message board. I, for one, can spend many an hour reading, without ever posting.

I sure with the collective energy we spend on these boards, we could have finished the tower to heaven and answered all the questions ourselves.
