True. In all the fantasy movies I've seen when somoeone wants to place a curse on someone else, they have to do it face to face. The witches and sorcerers never send curses via letter, so I assume it's the same in the real world.

While tracting, I did half-seriously dust my feet off in the yard of this fellow hurling obscenities at us. As we came back up the other side of the street, an ambulance pulled up and they hauled him away. He was not covered with a sheet, but there was an oxygen mask.....
I don't think you are capable of being offensive enough in this venue to make me do that again.
