At the age of 25 I was temple married and pregnant with my fourth child. Enjoy your freedom, buddy.

I agree that people under 25 shouldn't concern themselves with a serious relationship. I mean if it happens, it happens, but don't fret if you're not in holy matrimony 'cause you're 22! You are 22, aren't you? Or 23?

Enjoy being a bachelor. :)

I am 23. Getting old. I've been really close to getting married twice. When one of my ex's got to keep our puppy after we broke up after 2 years, it crushed me. I think that gave me a taste for what a real divorce would be like and I learned my lesson.

Oh! My! Goodness! Gracious! You are NOT old! Pshaw! Puhhhllllleeeez!

You sound like Bond! Why in the world do you want to get married?

Wait until your late 20's, at least!

I feel old ... look at me... posting on Mormondiscussions.com is not what "cool kids" do.

I'm surprised I even get carded anymore ;)

But I definitely won't be getting married - Unless Amy Winehouse becomes available. I'm ok with shacking up with someone, but there really is no logical purpose for a man to get married.

I embrace my dorkiness! You should, as well!

I do still get carded! Well, that is when I bought things that I needed an ID for... oh dear, I am soooo old!

Oop! Got excited about being carded and didn't finish reading your post! :)

There are logical reasons for men to be married. They live longer, with better health, and on average have a more satisfying life when married.

But what about divorce? Or alimony? I think marriage is logical when kids are involved, otherwise I don't really see the point.

Dorkiness in females goes over a lot better than dorkiness in guys. If anyone here met me in person, I think they would be surprised.

I imagine marriage is MORE satisfying when there are NOT children! :)

Are most of your friends married, GoodK?

There's talk about a MDB get together. I imagine we'd all be surprised to meet up face to face. I'm rather quiet... I'm sure people would be rather surprised at that. :)
