Just like they were real people that Joseph Smith seduced and had sex with.
Which is, of course, undisputed historical fact.

You do realize, LOAP, that Helen Mar Kimball could have been in that picture if we could go back 160 years or whatever with a camera, right?
How many girls, LOAP, did Joseph Smith "hit", who could actually have fit in that picture? Any idea?
Have you ever thought, LOAP, and I mean really, seriously thought about the fact that something like 30+ real girls and women, were seduced into entering secret, extra-legal, faux "marriages" by an upper 30s year old married man who claimed that God had given them all to him? These were real people, LOAP. Have you ever really, truly thought about that?
If so, how in the hell did it not shock and anger you?
I'm glad you can all turn this around on me, rather than castigating your flip board friend. It says a lot about your own integrity.

I look at that picture and it just makes me sad. The joke is lost in looking at their faces. I know that because of their age, the damage cannot be undone. They never had a chance. Unfortunately, neither did their parents. The worst thing about mankind is these miserable ideas that keep echoing through generations and cannot be stopped.

Well, congratulations to the great state of Texas for stopping it.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Yes, but only when the children remain with their parents. That doesn't apply in this case, so the "strengthening" won't pass to the next generation.
Hopefully this can turn into something good, but I have my doubts.
I, on the other hand, am very optimistic. This is a whole group of kids who will finally get to experience the outside world and will spend a good chunk of time away from their brainwashing parents. By the time they turn 18, they'll be far better equipped to survive in the outside world and will finally have gained an appreciation for just how aberrant their parents' actions are.

Does this counterbalance what we did at Waco?

It's not over yet so it's hard to say.

??? Define "counterbalance" in this case.

I have no idea. I just am amazed at how many wacko compounds we seem to generate here.
