Yes, I agree it's slowly withering. Over the past few years, I've been shocked to see how many people like me are out there. People that, only in the last little while, have been learning the truth. People in our own ward. People in our neighboorhood, people at work, etc.

I work at a fairly large company in salt lake (not downtown, but surrounding area). Non/ex-mos easily outnumber Mormons.

And Infymus - nice post - i agree with most of what you said. Downtown is pitiful. Luckily, the rest of the state is beautiful, and makes up for it.

There seems to be a subset within the exmo crowd that really wants to believe that the church is imploding. It's not happening.

I think it's been spiritually stagnant for a very long time, but that's a different thing entirely.

The solution is to confront the lack of evidence by pointing it out and producing evidence of one's own. Sneering and mocking are just as vacuous as empty headlines.
