I believe that you misread Shades' statement.

Allow me to clarify.

PM's work.

However, if you have a Pop Up block running, you will not receive a pop up window informing you that you have a new PM.

There is, however, in the left hand corner underneath the main menu of the board, a URL which will state if you have 0 new messages, 1 new message, etc.

If you are using your Pop Up blocker, then you simply need to look at that link periodically, and check your PM's manually.

That is all Shades was trying to convey.
