Oh, I can tell, and yes, he is making fun of me. That's OK because I was sort of making fun of him. I think we both can take a joke, even when it's a poor attempt, like mine was.

Does Dr. Jeff Meldrum see any connection between "Frosty the Snowman" and the "Abominable Snowman?" Or is it just a coincidence?

Maybe he could write book about the DNA evidence linking or not linking the two.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

Bumping in the interest of the spirit of christmas.
Lou Midgley 08/20/2020: "...meat wad," and "cockroach" are pithy descriptions of human beings used by gemli? They were not fashioned by Professor Peterson.
LM 11/23/2018: one can explain away the soul of human beings...as...a Meat Unit, to use Professor Peterson's clever derogatory description of gemli's ideology.

...the etymology of those two strange phrases, 'thumpety, thump-thump' and 'bumpety, bump-bump.'

I have known Professor Runtu for a long time, who earned his degree from Harvard University, with a minor in wooden calculators from BYU, and a Masters in Cooking Apologists from Oxford University. Like me, he has visited the Leaning Tower of Pizza, and is widely travelled in foreign lands and became a specialist in languages like Cockney and Pigeon English. He is more than qualified to write this desertation.
I endorse it. Professor Runtu, take a bow. I admit that his only sin was calling Daniel C. Peterson "buttbrains". A sort of version of Mutt and Jeff, or Dagwood and Blondie, but it's nothing but a private joke between us, I swear. No offense was intended, and only three copies of this original print was sent out. It was withdrawn as soon as no one else caught the private joke.
That should not be held against my mate, see, for example, his brilliant treatment of chiasmus in "Little Red Riding Hood", or his rebuttal of the idea that "The Cow Jumped over the Moon" is inspired revelation.
