I would suggest that DCP use in his response to you:

38 Ways To Win An Argument by Arthur Schopenhauer

Rule 3 Ignore your opponent’s proposition, which was intended to refer to some particular thing. Rather, understand it in some quite different sense, and then refute it. Attack something different than what was asserted.
I think it would be morally right to lie about your religion to edit the article favorably.

I'm hurt, I didn't make the top of the list.

What's your "handle" at CARM? Maybe you're on top of the list there?

You find CARM boring 'cause you're only lurking there, Nehor. We all know you're entertained by your own shtick. (Better chat with your bishop about that.) ;P

Gramps, I read a few posts from lostindc. The dude could get lost inside a paper bag, methinks! How'd I miss him? Thanks for pointing out my glaring omission!

As an aside, I'm so glad to see your posts here, Gramps. I hope you're well.

Poor antishock8 is, I would imagine, referring to me. This is how he does substantive discussion with people who don't share his point of view.

And, as he always is on this point, he's absolutely correct that I've simply barged onto a thread where no reference had been made to me whatsoever and, because of my incredibly enlarged ego, have sought to divert it to a discussion of me.

Here's the evidence from earlier posts in the thread, proving that I hadn't been mentioned:

solomarineris wrote:I did last quite a while, until DCP blew my cover identifying me (correctly I might add) as heretic, or troll. As many others, who kicked out I wasn't hiding anything. Herr Doktor felt the need snitching on me as he did to countless others. (Thank Gawd, this guy isn't in charge of who comes in Utah who doesn't. He probably wouldn't let heretics like me to enter Utah, fearing I'd corrupt some Sheep Saints).

solomarineris wrote:So, then, if it is myth how come we 're not there anymore? It may sound funny they react instantly and with completely slavish obedience. but it is true. There are lots of Morgbots there, worshiping the ground you cover.

Incidentally, solomarineris's logic is impeccable.

(Let X = somebody other than me, since I'm not mentioned here.)

X, therefore Y.
Y
Therefore X.

To illustrate this mode of reasoning:

Drowning leads to death.
Hitler is dead.
Therefore, Hitler drowned.

Which demonstrates the soundness of solomarineris's reasoning:

Non-DCP gets people banned from the board formerly known as FAIR.
You want evidence? Well, people have been banned from that board.
Which proves that non-DCP done it.

I share again my judgment that poor antishock8 and solomarineris are ornaments to this board, in a small and select class that they share with only a handful of others here.

I haven't been visiting the MA&D Message Board lately. The MD Mesaage Board here is at least ten times better, than the MA&D Message Board.

I bet Consiglieri could find a Book of Mormon Bulls-Eye in your post, Brackite.

The administrators over there sense the aura of the penumbra of a shadow of a hint of a premonition of my implicit yet unstated wish that a poster be banned, and, like Pavlov's trained dogs, they react instantly and with completely slavish obedience. I'm familiar with the myth.)

What about these thoughts:

1. They are protective of you due to your importance to the board
2. That some bans have originated from a desire to remove those whom they perceive to be an annoyance to you, fearing you might stay away from the board?

Gawd, you're good. That one really struck my funny bone. Thanks for the laugh.
