I dunno, whatcha think?

It's not what you or I or the rest of the world thinks that's important. What's important is how the other apologists view them, how the regular member views them, how the leaders view them... and scoring points against the opposition is how one moves up the ranks.

Never get the idea that they care how the rest of the world views them; they don't. They only care about moving up the leadership ladder... Pride, remember. It's all about pride.

Maybe the ought to spend time caring about what Heavenly Father thinks about them and get off their self focused high horse?

What it looks like to an outsider is that they are trying to score points with God while actually behaving in ways that are contrary to what the Bible teaches (at least) regarding humility. In other words, it makes them look like non-Bibilical hypocrites.

I wouldn't know for a fact, what it actually is. I only know what it looks like.

If they did that, they wouldn't be apologists... or active. In order to behave like an apologist, one must have pride. We get it from our leaders, parents instill it in their children at a very young age, we reinforce it among our youth and in every meeting. There is no way to get away from it.

And when an apostate (remember, I'm differentiating between an apostate and an inactive) figuretively (and occasionally overtly) flips the bird at the church, the pride goes into high gear.

Get a life, stay out of it and if people believe in the power of Heavenly Father as they claim they do, how about trusting Him to do the work of saving souls or isn't His work good enough for them?

Pride is what tells Heavenly Father what to do. There is no humility, no devotion, no respect. There is only pride.

I've had a similar experience. I've met all sorts of folks on various LDS themed boards. I've had some good experiences, and lots of not-so-good ones, but getting to know you and a select few others has made it all worthwhile. Thank you for being exactly who you are, John.

Did I miss something? Has Kimberly Ann been banned from this message board in the last couple of days?

Bond posted that information on the MAD board Monday afternoon (in the "Nothing to hide?" thread).

Hi, Krose.

No, I haven't been banned. At least I don't think so. I'm posting right now, at any rate, so if I am banned, the banning is quite ineffective. :)

I don't know why Bond would post that information. There must be a misunderstanding somewhere.

Still typing, typing, typing...

Kimberley Ann has not been banned and unless she has a personality transplant and loses her brain entirely, likely never will be. Neither will anyone else.

Bond has issues.

?????

Kimberly Ann HAS NOT been banned!

She is a valuable contributor here.

I don't read MAD much anymore. Do you have a link to the thread in question?

Bond left this board voluntarily, by the way, and is still welcome to post here anytime.

I'm not sure what was posted on that MAD thread and I don't have the patience to go digging though it.

I consider Bond a friend, and so whatever was said I know was either a misunderstanding or has been misunderstood by readers.

No reason to fret about it.

The drama continues, on Tarski's "Nothing to Hide" thread:

Posts dealing with unrelated MDB material deleted by Liz.

I sent something similar to this message to a mod and will repost it here for anyone concerned. I don't find it funny. At all.

I was just logging on because I received an email informing me about the post "I" made. I didn't make that post and some time ago my computer was compromised by trojan viruses (early December & a few times since). I haven't been home for most of the weekend and haven't posted on this board in quite some time. I'm fine. My daughters are fine.My teen daughter assures me she didn't make the post. I don't find it funny, at all. I'm going to be changing my password and hope that will take care of any problems. I'm fine with this account being completely deleted if the mods see fit. Hopefully my CARM account wasn't compromised.

I'm wondering now, since you said that you haven't posted on this board for quite some time-was it not you who posted the 'what time do you get up in the morning' thread in the social forum on saturday?

I'm really glad your daughers are fine, and i hope you get this whole mess figured out. It sounds like the 'cupcake queen' is a poster over on shady's board so if the post wasn't from you, then you may want to head over there to see if they know anything about it.

Good luck.

Here's what Bond says (he's referring to Barrel, not Kimberly Ann)
