nemisis created a thread just for attach, so what is wrong with someone here doing it? nemisis is being very unchristian and childish. If nemisis does not like what goes on over here and if nemisis is too stupid to realize the every person over here - including DCP, Pahoran, Droop, Bcspace, etc, are not all responsible for making fun of juliann, then perhaps nemisis is just stoopid.

I have expressed to nemesis for his behavior. What does that have to do with this thread? Let's try and come back with something more intelligent than nemesis is just stoopid.

I am guessing it is safe to assume that the majority of the MAD board is also against nemesis' activities?

If they were against it, they wouldn't dare say so. Nemesis' banning of Ceeboo insured that. Apparently in all his (or actually, probably hers Juliann's) - talk of free speech, she's never heard of the chilling effect.

according to nemesis own reasoning if oks to be childish when dealing with a child, so I am just given the child what the child wants.

and it is very interesting how much silent consent is going on over. There is not free speech or even responsibile speech there is only dictatorially imposed standards, its amost as bad as playing the card game Moa.

However, Nemesis seems to be becoming emotionally unhinged, which makes me think Juliann is taking over for Dan G, at least for now. Remember, this is Juliann's board.

There's nothing to stop multiple people from using the same moderator account.

I think Nemesis brings up some good points.

For YEARS now, I have expressed my concern about not having any rules what-so-ever on this board.

While the majority of posters seem to handle themselves pretty well, even the best of us get caught up in bad behavior at times. Some posters seem to relish in bad behavior most, if not ALL of the time.

That being said, as stem lamented over there, what other avenue do people that want real answers to real questions have? He started similar threads here and over at MDD. The MDD thread was shut down in a couple of hours. For the most part, this board has a pleasant discussion that brought some intriguing questions to stems mind.

Although, to counter Nemesis's argument that the culture here is responsible for the meme's against Juliann, I would say that the culture of the heavy handed ban-hammer that Juliann wields over THERE is responsible. They love to fancy themselves as only banning those who TRULY deserve it, and then, only after long and careful consideration. Not so. Perhaps if they weren't so ban-happy (I see Ceeboo is the latest undeserving victim), none of this would have happened.

One last thing. Nemesis is right that it takes a "board war" from their board to light enough of a fire to declare public outcry from this board. However, I would like to officially state my personal disgust at some of the meme's. I didn't read all of them, but enough to feel bad for Juliann. I don't agree with most of what she says, but I also respect her as a human being with her own beliefs.

Which memes were actually posted here? Personally, I never went to the trouble of visiting the Juliann memes until the outcry. (I still haven't seen the ones directed at calmoriah.) I never would have looked at them, because that isn't the kind of thing I participate in or get my kicks from. So, if I didn't know anything about them, why would I have voiced outrage about them? It was when someone complained of how outrageous they were that I registered my disapproval. Before that, I just had no knowledge of it. Punkt.

I get the feeling that a lot of us were in a similar position. Because we don't do that crap, or get into it, we didn't know about it, and therefore said nothing about it. Big surprise.

My guess is that a much more tempered protest would have resulted in the same expressions of outrage. It is not as though I disapproved all of the sudden because they threatened us into it. I disapproved because I became aware of it. Nemesis could have easily registered here and started a thread drawing our attention to the problem without all of the hysterical rhetoric of legal action and board wars. That was irresponsible BS.

Nemesis is simply trying to defend himself for flying off the handle and behaving stupidly. If I were in charge of MDD, I would retire him from moderating.
