In general, I used prayer in hopes that it would help me avoid sin.

This is the most depressing thread I've read in a VERY long time.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Yes.
The same as the uncounted monks and nuns who have died without the knowing of the basic human relationships. In the name of god.

It's ok Shades, I just shake my head and laugh.
This one time I met this really cute girl at a fireside. She actually started talking to me first which I was surprised because I'm pretty sure she was out of my league. After talking to her for a while I found out she had a baby out of wedlock. I was pretty turned off but I figured she is at a fireside and trying to repent so I'll give this a shot.
We started dating and after a couple of weeks she says to me "your really careful about where you put your hands on me." I just got back from my mission for about a year at this time. I was like yeah I'm suppose to be careful. Well then she says ots really no big deal where you put your hands and you can put them anywhere on me. Here I am thinking wow that's pretty cool so I start grabbing her butt! Things started to get more intense physically from there and we went a little farther then we were suppose to. She eventually started asking for sex and I told her no that is something I will not do until marriage. So she wanted to get married! This is where things started to get more intense because I didn't know her well enough.
We kept breaking up and getting back together. One time during the break up my mom tells me she is so happy that she is going to but me a new suit for church! Then after a week I got back together with her. My mom got mad and said I used her to get a new suit haha. Yeah mom I purposely broke up with my gf so I could get a new suit.
I finally broke it off with this girl because I found out she was a liar and manipulative. Apparently she is still active at this time. Good thing I didn't have sex with her because at that time I would have felt so guilty that I probably would have married her. Oh and another funny part or embrassing part of the story was through all of this my dad was her bishop so he would listen to her confesions.

How did that work for you zee? Did you ever see that girl that kissed you on the back of your neck?
I got bit on the back from this kind of random girl that I met in new york. She was my friends friend that decided to come on the trip with us. I'll have to admit it was pretty hot and kind of random.

Rambo,
Were you recently in a Stephanie Meyer story? Does that girl like your smell? Is she pale? Does she sleep? Does she sparkle in the sun? Is she moody? If you cut your finger, does she get all hot and flustered? And, most importantly, are you a descendent of American Natives living on the Olympic Peninsula?
Regarding my use of prayer to avoid sin- nah, it didn't seem to work. What really seemed to work was occupying my mind and feeling good about myself. Self-esteem seemed to help. You know, the "pride" Benson used to speak of.

pep pep...
I usually took over the dance floor back in the day as everyone moved aside and a crowd gathered and cheered. Well, I was amatuerish. I once met a girl who seemed to enjoy the cut of my jib, or jib or whatever, and we started dating. She got these dancing gigs around the world and traveled with groups or something. it was cute. Anyway, we finally got to kiss on our lips. What a joy. We kissed a bit and suddenly I felt her hand reaching for the wiggle stick in my pants. I was appalled, tossed her aside and gave her a look of disgust, I'm sure. She was awfully embarrassed and said, "I was just trying something". Things ended pretty soon after that. I wasn't even allowed to touch my privates...the gall of that girl!

It's sad how many great romances people have missed out on due to devotion to the church. Me, I can't complain about that - I was too awkward and nerdy. No one threw themselves at me.

Don't feel sad for me, though. I'm so stinking happy with how things turned out on my end. I don't feel like I missed out on anything.
