You sure talk purty.

What an awesome statement! I think it's too long to use as a sig. Damn! ;-)

Anything can be oversimplified and reduced to a few negative statements. Sorry stak, while I do consider you a friend, I don't think your above statement really says anything.

I think you should start a part II thread from scratch (no not Mr.).

I think we should re-sticky it. The thread is simply a look at ironic or humorous statements from MDD.

If I really thought that a decent bridge could be built by keeping it de-stickied, then I would say go for it. But, Nemesis has proven that he is going to think the way he wants to think no matter what, and promote false propaganda about MDB at all costs.

Simon, we are talking about a group of people who formed a “Neighborhood Watch” to monitor a thread. Trying to say something positive about that pathetic act is like trying to make paint huffing into a virtue.

OMG! You're on a roll tonight, Stak!

This quote is better than your last one.

There is n point to it Liz, the posters who actually have something to say (Maklelan, David B., Abman and others) come here anyways, and the posters we want nothing to do with (Pahoran, as a shining example) also come here. We get the upper crust and the lower crust, who needs the plain vanilla middle? It’s just a bunch of neckbeards who aren’t even active in the church thoughtfully stroking their collective chins whilst musing about possible cures for homosexuality.

Dr. Shades wrote:Dear community:

In my recent thread about changes to the culture of this site, I mentioned how I de-stickied "the definitive MA&Dhouse quote page" thread, which you can read at:

http://mormondiscussions.com/phpBB3/vie ... p?p=328968

I explained that the reason I did so was because some folks said that it's "sticky," or "pinned" status produced a net negative effect on the culture of the board.

Since then, others have said that they liked it the way it was, negative or otherwise. Either way, what good is a message board if it doesn't meet the needs or wants of its users? So I'll go with what the community as a whole wants. Therefore, should we re-sticky/re-pin "the definitive MA&Dhouse quote page" thread?

Thanks in advance for your vote.

Sure why not. Lets go back to the way things were. Sooner or later it will happen anyway. This board is addicted to the MAD board in some way or another. Without the MAD board, some posters here would go into MAD withdrawal. Lets have it as a sticky to help the addicts get back on track.
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world.
