Hey guys,

I think it’s obvious Darrick has mental health issues, just like me and a few other posters here, but his issues seem more severe and he probably lacks a strong support system to help him deal.

I don’t think any of this helps, and I don’t think there is anything any of us can do to help him. I suggest that we just collectively ignore him and wait out this current spat of posts.

Oh Dear! How Sad! Never Mind!

Why not start your own church and give folk a break?
We shall not cease from exploration
and the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
and know the place for the first time.

I disagree with you, Stak.

Firstly, there is already a therapist responding to Darrick on these threads. If that person deems it relevant to suggest therapy using online methods of (remote) communication, that's good enough for me.

Secondly, I know all too well what the ramifications can be of untreated mental illness. There is no part of me that would remain silent when I see a person in so obvious need of treatment.

He is free to disregard these statements and likely will. However, in order to live with myself and sleep at night, in all good conscience, I need to say what I think in terms of his needing a psyche referral.

Darrick, have you never given a female the brush off in your entire life? I assume there have been girls from church you never bothered to ask out, thinking you wanted better. It happens.

Be honest, this conversation wasn't with an actual person, was it?

My advice, lower your standards and get yourself a girlfriend.

Probably a good idea
