Mike,

Did you ever try posting links to your articles on this board or did you believe you had enough followers and interest in your articles without the need to post them on this board?

Okay.

Mike has the cahoonies to hold his head up high despite being let go.
I actually admire that.

Mike, I thought a lot of your ideas were nonsense but I humbly and completely apologise for Dissin' your name. Sorry.

Yes, he needs to be called trash more often. I am sure that this in itself will get him to come here more often to post.

Jon already apologized for the name calling. If Mike's actually posting here, I think people would be more respectful. It's easy to make fun of people that aren't here. So hopefully Mike will give the board a chance and hopefully the posters will be respectful and treat him with some respect.

Whoever would assert such a thing has never met you in person. Sorry to hear the news, Mike, but I am pleased that there is a silver lining in it for ya.

Mr. Ash,

Although I agree with almost nothing you wrote in your Mormon Times articles, for what it is worth, I am very impressed by the fact that you were willing to come on this board and tell your side of the story regarding the termination of your column. Thank you for setting the record straight.

I was a bit uncomfortable with the title of the initial thread here reporting the termination of your column and am happy to see that jon has quickly and sincerely apologized. (His stock is up over here as well.)

Another board on which I post is also running a thread on your situation, and I plan to temper (edit) some of my earlier remarks there based on your post here.

Hope you will decide to post here in the future when you have time to do so.
__________

Now that I have introduced myself, and if you do not mind, I will address you as Mike.

Best Wishes.

Indeed. I've met a number of apologists, and I feel safe in saying that Mike was the most gentlemanly of them all.

It would only take a matter of time before the attacks began. The critics here can not tolerate anyone defending the LDS church. Eventually the attack posey would come out of the closet.
