Re: This is how it works, Joseph
I understand why Jersey Girl posted the PM. Joseph is a bully who needs to be outed. I understand the mods had to abide by their own rules, but seeing Jersey Girl banned while Joseph runs free is sickening to me.

Yep. For showing the kind of behind the scenes threats a certain self-styled brown shirt is engaging in.

Has a Mod confirmed this? I didn't see one in the thread.

Ask for confirmation, Stak. I'd love to see Shades talk about it.

Yes, Jersey Girl was given a 7 day suspension.
If everyone recalls, there was a HUGE blowout about posting personal information on the board. This included chats and PM's. The majority consensus was that it was to be a no-nonsense rule that had to have teeth otherwise what is the point. That ANY violation of this rule had to come with a suspension.
If I recall correctly, Jersey Girl was one of the strongest supporters of this.
By violating this rule, we simply did what the community at large requested and suspended her.
The proper course of action here would be to PM Shades with the offending PM and let him deal with it.

I have to say that it appears that Scottie was doing his job as he was duty bound to do. Jersey Girl knew the rule, and broke it. If we can do that when we feel like it, what good are board rules?
by the way this does not mean I like or approve of Joseph in any way. I think he is clearly a bit unbalanced, and I wish he would go away and bother some other people, like 4chan for instance.

Jersey Girl knew the consequences of her actions. She willingly fell on the sword in order to expose Barney Fife's behind-the-scenes bullying via PMs. She wasn't the only one sent this kind of PM.
