For someone who has never understood the Gospel of Jesus Christ, what I wrote does not make sense.
Gospel: No promise of "any" earthly blessings. "In this world ye shall have tribulation". Heavenly treasures only.
Pagans: Go to temple(s) in order to get "blessings" which are material gains such as sex, beautiful spouse, healthy children, success in business, protection in travel.
Mormons: see "Pagans"
