I know, but we're going to have to face the decision to elect a non-Christian at some point. Who cares if people want to paint him as non-Christian? Someone's going to have to take up that mantle.

1. Make Mormons Christians (and I have no objection to their claiming that descriptor)
also work:
2. To make FLDS Christians.
3. To make FLDS Mormons.
I'd like to see someone find a way to get the first one without having to let the next two in as well.
Ok so what? I don;t have an issue with that.
You Christians who hate to call LDS Christians do so primarily because they think Mormons have a different Jesus. But the Jesus they worship is no more or less biblical than they think the LDS Jesus is. Both rely on extra biblical creeds or revelations or whatever. THe Bible is really not clear on the nature of the God head the results from three persons on the New Testament all that can be referred to as God.
Mormons are not historical or orthodox Christians. But they are part of the Christian umbrella.
I'm sure I would be one of those "Bible thumping", blah, blah, blah...
Nonetheless, I have no idea if Romney is a Christian. Nor Huckabee, for that matter. A Christian is one whose sins are forgiven so how would I know this about another person.
I'm not sure why we are asked to defend what someone on FNC says. Perhaps it's your bigotry in play here?
However, Mormonism is not Christian. There's no denying that, no matter the amount of bluster you can muster.

You're not a christian no matter the amount of bluster you can muster. Go ahead and call yourself one, but it's not true.
Wow, that was easy. I guess I just figured out why being a christian is so attractive. I can judge others and say whatever I want, whether it's true or not. That's being a normal christian (according to the examples we have on this board, anyway). This is awesome!
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

So Mormonism's sins aren't forgiven? What does that even mean?
you define Christian as those whose sins are forgiven. Its seems like you've emloyed nothing more than conflating in some hope to exclude people from the term you wish to define specially for you, or something.
