There are other good words, which are better descriptors of the real world...
Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Or those other words to live by concerning enemies: You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in.
