Have you read the book?

Thomas Sowell is extraordinarily bright and insightful.

I'm betting you haven't.

Chris Smith's recent paper at BYU was "excellent," though you hadn't actually read it.

Dr. Sowell's book is "tripe," though you probably haven't read it.

Saves time, I guess.

What's the point of this post, exactly? I've seen you do this a number of times, Dan: you've apparently been reading Kishkumen's posts, and then you pop in to kick him in the teeth like this. I've lost track of the number of times you've done this to him. So what's the story? What's the origin of your personal vendetta against him? Are you pissed because he was the one who broke the news about Gee's and Roper's shenanigans at the Gold Plates seminar?

Yup. That's the one.

Yup.

What's the point of this post, exactly? I've seen you do this innumerable times, Scratch: You track me obsessively on the Internet, and then you pop in to attack me like this. I've lost track of the number of times you've done this to me. So what's the story? What's the origin of your personal vendetta against me? You're not just hastening to spout off here because he was criticizing Gee and Roper on the basis of second-hand hearsay accounts and third-hand criticisms of questions they asked at the Gold Plates seminar. We both know that you attack me constantly whenever the opportunity presents itself, and that, when it doesn't, you manufacture the opportunity.

There's no need to get angry, Dr. Peterson, nor is there any need for you to transform this thread into yet another one of your persecution threads. But hey, since you're in the mood for diversions and red herrings: Why haven't you responded to Mr. Stakhanovite's thread yet? You scared?

But I can't help it! I'm furious! I'm searching for my assault rifle right now!

My rage is towering! livid! intense! volcanic!

Doctor Scratch wrote:You scared?

No. Not any more.

Fortunately, passionate anger drives out fear.

Equating, Dr. Peterson, what you are doing to Kishkumen with what Dr. Scratch has done to you? Does that mean you are labeling yourself the 'malevolent stalker' of Kishkumen?

You do think through the counter moves you open up by making a move before you actually make it, right?

Of course they're not comparable. Scratch has been stalking me implacably for five full years now. Half a decade.

I just tweaked Kishkumen a bit.

Scratch's claims against me are essentially false. My description of him is obviously true -- as, I know from their private comments to me, is obvious to reasonable observers here. (Hence, there's little or no need for me to explicitly point that out.)

Socrates wrote:Does that mean you are labeling yourself the 'malevolent stalker' of Kishkumen?

See above.

Sure!

But if I can't have a little bit of fun at Scratch's expense, what good is he? I mean, seriously. You can't wrap a dead fish with him, the elements in his body are only worth around US $4.50, he can't catch mice, and he doesn't clean my toilet bowl. He's got to have some use.

Thomas Sowell is a professional liar who is only interested in serving far Right Wing extremism. He favors Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter for God's sake. That's enough to discredit anything he has to say. But ever since he was proved wrong about the role of the CRA in the housing crisis, along with his subsequent refusal to admit being proved wrong, that did it for me. He has no credibility except among those who hail from the far Right. Kinda like how Dan Peterson has credibility in his apologetics, except among like-minded sheep. And Dan has no credibility in his judgment of characters because he rushes to defend folks like William Schryver who call ex-Mormon women whores and accuse all ex-Mormons on this forum of engaging in group anal sex. That's the kind of people Dan Peterson wants to defend. He wants to call them victims of smear campaigns. He isn't interested in the evidence, as usual. Dan is all about loyalty to the tribe. Truth is relative.
