Obviously, I'm not going to be able to quote the lesson. The basic premise was that unless I "exercising my priesthood" in the home I was not completely fulfilling my job as a father. Providing for them is good. Raising them is good. Teaching them is good. But, unless I'm giving blessings and conducting personal preisthood interviews I'm not hitting them mark.

I know that it is. Believing there a higher power is comforting. Believing that you can channel some of that beings power is that much more comforting.
