Re: When Did the MAD Board "Jump The Shark"?
Here's my completely uninformed guesswork on the matter...
1. There is a correlation between the level of activity from Will Schryver (either posting or moderating) and the quality of the contribution.
2. The moderators are running scared of certain General Authorities and their war on terror[ble apologetics] and are trying to increase the level of faith promotion. Reduce the level of factual discussion and debate that shows up the issues with the Church's historicity, inconsistencie of doctrine and downright weirdness.
(by doing this they are actually working against what Oaks...ooops, what certain GA's want)
3. The moderators/board owner(s) handle 'difficult' posters (ones that don't comply with the strict "don't post anything that could be considered faith challenging" rule) like an overtired five year old handles not getting cake.
All of the above points are fictitious and any resemblance to actual people and actual events is purely coincidental.

Ya know, you're such as dill. I once thought you were "intelligent". Now I'm convinced that your head is hollow.
But if you reconsider, I might actually think you have a brain.

Reconsider? Reconsider what? I think you must have been having another conversation with yourself without realizing it.
I don't doubt that I lack intelligence. It's good manners that I would regret losing. Wouldn't you say, mate?

Wait, say what?
Breaking character a little, I'm afraid I'm going to have to CFR on that one, Doctor Scratch. Certainly the powers-that-be at MD&D must know that William's Mopologetics dry up and blow away like chaff whenever Kevin enters the room. They've seen it, what, a hundred times already?
I've been doing this a while and have seen a lot of strange stuff, but them bringing Kevin back so that William can hopefully score a few points against Kevin stretches credibility a little too far even for my playbook. Sure, I could certainly buy it if it was the other way around, but this is a bit much.
