This change in moderation is very nice to see.

I don't believe this is a change in moderation. I think what the mods value is the fact that Kevin knows this subject very well, so they value his knowledge, even if it's oppositional. What it does show is that they are interested in the truth, and in the concept of "opposition in all things". It is quite remarkable that they let him back on the board (after defending Juliann), when before, any post he did was immediately deleted, once they discovered his identity.

On the whole, however, it's still not a board I'd rush to sign up for again. Not after the way I was treated there.

Ray, I am in agreement. I don't think there is a change in moderation in general but only for this subject and this situation. I was banned on the infamous Nov 6th 2006 purge for only posting here. I haven't viewed there for a long time and I am still banned even today. I would not have even viewed now except I am interested in this subject and Kevin provided a link from here.

I was banned from my most recent KEP thread last night, so that was it for me. I've removed myself from the forum. I was being banned as I was in the process of reporting offensive comments by wade (calling me self-deluded) and Loran.

I didn't even bother to log out to see what the mod's "explanation" was for banning me. Just don't care anymore. It probably has to do with their desire to protect FARMS scholars like Hamblin and Gee. Bill Hamblin can crash any thread he wants and have it shut down if anyone dares point out what an intellectual terrorist he really is, and wade Englund is just insufferable.

This guy is so deluded that he actually thinks he's "winning" these debates and that all I've done is "embarrass" myself. I had been tolerating the rhetoric bombs from the village idiot so long as I had the mods keeping it to a bare minimum, but I can never tell which moderator is going to be moderating. Minos and Nemesis are fairly reasonable, but Ares is too unpredictable.

Just pat yourself on the shoulder and thank yourself for getting out of it and stepping into the truth. Bear in mind that Mormons need to live in deception in order to survive. All you can do is wish them luck and hope they finally make that step.

Wade Englund received a considerable wigging from the mods, which quite upset the poor man. If you are unbanned, you might consider going back there to say farewell, to make it plain you are leaving on your own terms. But if you have cancelled your registration, that's it of course.

Your overall patience, self-control and attention to detail have been exemplary. There is not much of Schryver left, so far as I can see. He bailed a while back, of course.

Something weird is going on with the "KEP Sequence of Characters" thread as far as hits go. I watched it on and off for about an hour earlier today when it was around 11,000 hits and it was going up at an unusually fast rate. Even though there were only a total of 30-35 people in the forum it was climbing at a rate of about 100s hit in five minutes.
I would suspect that someone or someones are using a macro to refresh it just to drive up the hits.
