Which would make Brigham Young and the other Prophets prior to SWK racist and uninspired and seen to have led the Church astray.
BINGO!
"Moving beyond apologist persuasion, LDS polemicists furiously (and often fraudulently) attack any non-traditional view of Mormonism. They don't mince words -- they mince the truth."

LDSToronto posted a thread asking for a definition of Race Baiting.

A good way to define it is as using racial topics in a manner to score polemical points and in a way of manipulating race topics for personal/political gain.
Sounds like an excuse to shut down threads they don't like.

That's pretty much the purpose of all their rules.

I may have my mods mixed up but here is a post from Juliann who seems to fall on the side of it being racist.
The ban was racist by definition and not only is there absolutely no point in denying the obvious anymore it is counterproductive. That is the word we use now whether you like it or not. They didn't use sexism when women had no rights but that is what we call it now. Unless you want to revisit the Tower of Babel and create new languages, I am afraid we are stuck with the one we have.
"Any over-ritualized religion since the dawn of time can make its priests say yes, we know, it is rotten, and hard luck, but just do as we say, keep at the ritual, stick it out, give us your money and you'll end up with the angels in heaven for evermore."

I never thought of it this way, primarily because my impression is that the mods themselves (like Juliann) consider the ban to be racist. Funny thing about her is that she once complimented my apologetic on the priesthood ban some years ago as "maturing" yet my stance on it has never changed and I have always proved the ban not to be racist.
Lehi's ramblings on the mad poll thread have gone to the "how does the ban negatively impact blacks/ maybe it is a blessing in disguise" stuff that Bott was promoting.
Wheeeee...
Wonder how well that will work for him?
