They deserved it. Especially if they're women.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.
The first part of kamenraider, "kamen", actually means "masked." Just because I'm masked doesn't mean I don't behave myself though. Maybe I'm an exception. :)

I'm going to start posting using my LDS membership number. That's what Cook is really asking for...

Isn't his point that cyber-bullying is wrong? Isn't the point that slinging racism, sexism, homophobia and hate all over the internet is a bad thing?
Cuz I totes agree with that.

He mentions hateful, vitriolic, bigoted speech. I'm not convinced he's saying anything more than "against the church"...

Elder Cook denounced "any use of the Internet to bully, destroy a reputation or place a person in a bad light" and said anonymity makes people more likely to engage in such behavior.
Said anonymity also makes it harder to seek vengence in the name of the Lord.
Elder Cook gave the example of the tarring and feathering of Joseph Smith to demonstrate the behaviour of people when the wear masks. He gave some other examples of bad behaviour against Church members by mask wearers.
I wonder why he didn't use the example of Mountain Meadows where Mormons impersonated Native Americans in order to commit atrocities?

I guess Quentin Crook will put his money where his mouth is and open up the church's financial books and records for the world to see. Wouldn't want to be hiding behind a fiscal mask of secrecy, right?
And I am sure they will now be opening up the church vaults and publishing all the things they have secreted away in there, including the Nauvoo Council of Fifty minutes. Over 200 pages of instructions from Joseph Smith given just before he died--and not permitted to be viewed by anyone (not Quinn, not Bushman, no one). I look forward to this new era of church openness that Elder Crook is going to help usher in.

I haven't heard anything about this before. Where does it say that this even exists?
