I like a lot of what Dan Savage has to say--sadly, I don't know him personally...

Nope... no surprise, here (see the latter half of my second post in this thread).

I love being a gay Mormon here in Dallas Texas! Hell yeah! Free at last. When will the novelty ever wear off?
Living in the ilume, within the beating heart of the gayborhood, ground zero. No missionaries would dare try to step foot in here. No home teachers, no bishops, and no church garbage allowed. I'm surrounded by gays! Been hitting the tanning booth in the fitness center and am looking forward to the pool parties in a couple of months:

Actually, I recently saw some Mormon missionaries walking down Lemmon right across from Mario Sabino's Mexican and Salvadorian restaurant. But it's not like they're having success in any other part of urban Dallas (or suburban Dallas for that matter). So if I were a missionary, I'd probably ride along Turtle Creek or the Katy Trail and enjoy people-watching in the nice part of town. Sure would beat tracting around Fair Park, right?

I've actually seen some missionaries on Cedar Springs north of the tollway. I don't know what the hell they hope to possibily accomplish on Cedar Springs. They are taking a big chance by coming into the gayborhood and I wouldn't advise it. But, if they try to come into the ilume they will meet their destiny at the front door. God forgid good looking Mormon missionaries walking the halls of the ilume. Hell, that don't sound so bad if they will just come inside and take their clothes off. Hell, I'd do it with a missionary in a heartbeat. Yep, I'd have sex with two missionaries in my apartment if they come in.
