I would have to say not at all in a very real sense. That being our unpaid clergy/ministry are the actual hands on in running the Church and ministering directly to the people. The prophets and apostles have had this experience, but don't actually perform that function.

I keep hearing members say the mall is being funded by the business arm. Is this made evident by some financial statements? Can I read them?

PROTIP: Penis envy is not about coveting financial success. Given the hyper-phallic design of the COB, though, I can understand why you're confused about this.

Bc, this is what they get paid to do.

The Apostles administer the affairs of the Church throughout the world.(Gospel Principles)

How is that not 'running the Church'?

ldsfaqs wrote:1. They are not "paid"..... They receive a living stipend, equivalent to their experience and qualifications what they would have been doing and making in the private sector.

These are not people who "earned" their way, and sought after the Apostleship. They are self-made men who lived their own faithful lives and were simply called to the work.

Why don't you spend your life mocking other religions that actually "pay" their Preachers etc., men who work to get their position, etc.??? Why do you feel the need to mock a religion that does the complete opposite, and the only similarity is that at the very top there is some sort of money exchange??? Everything else about the LDS system is different, entirely eliminating the greed aspect, the pursuit of gain, the doing it for the money, etc. etc.

2. As you all should well know by know, it's the Churches BUSINESS SIDE, not "The Church" itself, which has paid for the Mall. Further, the Apostles Stipends also come from the business side, NOT from Tithing, etc.

You all have nothing to complain about here other than you're just engaging in Envy and Coveting. Since you're not rich and successful, it makes you feel good to belittle others who are.

Come on guys, which one of you is behind the ldsfaqs parody sock puppet?

I will be now absolute off topic - but it is not me who has begun it!

penis envy...

I've first read the word "phallocracy" in Robert Merle's "Protected Men", "Les hommes protégés" (1974) - Published in US as "The Virility Factor" (1977)
http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/phallocracy wrote:phallocracy
Pronunciation: /faˈlɒkrəsi/
noun (plural phallocracies)
a society or system which is dominated by men and in which the male sex is thought superior.
Derivatives: phallocratic adjective
Origin: 1970s: from Greek phallos 'phallus' + -cracy

When I search that word (phallocracy) on answers.com, it leads me to the entry Radical feminism...
On that page, there is no occurrence of the word phallocracy.
Apparently the page was written by phallocratic apologists.

I think Answers.com is run by phallocratic apologists. Or just plain idiots. Either way ldsfags is notorious for his malapropistic neologisms. The sure sign of a great thinker!

I got the wind up (latin was the official language of Hungary for a while), but I will do my best to decode as a whole. Google is my friend.

I want to use this words, too, as many times as I can (as _JS did it with celestial and terrestrial).
They sound scientific, and the average folks don't know it.
They are to revive my comments.
