I especially like his call to insult, mock, and attack those who are religious. This is the face of your religion, folks. Enjoy!

Nice man!

No, officially, this is the face of my religion:

I can't resist quoting myself (thanks to Tarski's sig line):

When believers want to give their claims more weight, they dress these claims up in scientific terms. When believers want to belittle atheism or secular humanism, they call it a "religion". -Beastie

??? So people who call for insults, who mock, and who attack are suddenly elevated to the status of prophet? Not only that, but their beliefs, or lack thereof, are automatically redesignated as a religion?

That's news to me. Where in the rulebook does it say that?

Also, NEVER FORGET: If you think that Atheism is a religion, then you also think that infertility is parenthood.
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"

Truly it is a sad day when atheism is compared with religion. I remember in WWII after carrying my badly wounded best friend hundreds of yards through enemy territory where machine gun fire ripped the clothes off me, only to have him die in my arms. As he died he implored me to teach America’s youth about the evils of atheism. To honor his memory I dedicated every home run I hit for the Cardinals to his memory and to the never ending fight against atheism. No Sir!!! Atheism is not a religion and neither I nor the 300 men whose lives I saved in Vietnam who join with me in this holy crusade against the Godless will ever allow it to become one.

Maybe he can't see someone at a podium without imagining they're giving some sort of sacrament meeting talk?

Maybe he can't see someone at a podium talking without phantom feeling that someone's hand in his pocket, fleecing 10% of his 'increase'?

I like when religious believers say, "I don't have enough faith to be an atheist."

Another favorite, "Christianity isn't a religion, it's a relationship."

They know that faith and religion have negative connotations, so they try and distance themselves from the terms while attaching them to their enemies.
