Sitting outside the SL Temple

Last time I was at the SLC temple for a wedding (not long ago), there were about 90 being performed that day (it was December). Couples were limited to 15 minutes in front of the doors for photos. The style for dresses was capes and those brides all looked like something out of Disney.

I always wondered why the Mormon God could discern each of the names and needs of the prayer list laid on the altar and take care of those needs collectively but he can't handle a thousand name list in one go for baptisms for the dead or endowments.

This doesn't do much for their case of being genuine Christians. Show me in the Bible where Jesus told his followers to turn away the poor. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I was downtown Salt Lake city in 2010 and didn't like it much. The main drag there (going all the way up to the capital building) was loaded with a number of very strange and dangerous looking people. Lots of drugs and bizarre behavior.

I'm not sure what Kevin the Pure would like the church to do about it.

Incidentally, there was a homeless person begging for money at the square's entrance. From what I could tell, I was the only person who gave the woman money. Just what change I had on me at the time, which was less than a couple bucks. I was probably the only apostate in the vicinity too.

Homeless person in SLC? In the narthex of the three heaven?

Or are they who failed the test?
