I've been looking and looking over there, I blink and you beat me

Lol, just got lucky. I'm not going to go so far as to say I'm surprised, but even with the spin Hamblin tries to give it, the story is pretty much exactly as Dr. Scratch's informant said.

Much better. Thank you. By no means a confirmation of the emails, but now I think we can say analogously that they are like the 110 pages. The anti Mormons have something, but we can't be sure they are accurately presented.

It should be interesting, (if the thread isn't closed) there's probably a lot of pent up discussion over there.

I stand corrected as this hit the local news:

Kudos to Peterson - he has an impact outside of Provo now!

All we have been given are two alleged emails presented by the enemies of the Church. The event might even be real, but the emails just sugary spin for the masturbatory consumption of rabid anti Mormons.

Not even for 35 cents. As long as the emails were alleged, my conclusion was accurate. It still is accurate as artificial hay is still being made. That's in large part because you and the others far overestimate the influence this has on the Church.

I agree with the part that I bolded.

Most members have never heard of the review, MI, FARMS, Fair, Dan, or you for that matter.

HOWEVER, one can speculate that perhaps this is a preemptive strike before Romney awareness and curiosity peaks.

Come September the media is going to be in a frenzy over all things Romney and thereby Mormon, which COULD cause members to go looking and all the bean counters at LDS HQ need is for them to be offended by the likes of Dan and his posse of polemic pontificators.

Who gives a flying f*** how this affects the church? Most Mormons don't even know who Daniel is.
