By the way, I find it interesting that LDS people are vehemently opposed to anything that slightly resembles Socialism while at the same time pining for Jesus to return and institute the law of consecration thereby taking care of everyone.

The Law of Consecration does not resemble Socialism in the least. It's not an economic system. It requires free market capitalism to work. It's fundamental principle is private property. Etc.
