We now have a report of an earring violator in the temple. (I'm glad her bish and SP, and the temple officials, did not try to prevent her admittance.)

I had not heard about this also being the result for male piercing in this area. I would think that you could have many more complications than whatever stimulation increase benefit you might incur.

Um...I don't have any piercings other than my ears. And that is adventurous enough for me. LOL
Sometime before the earring revelation, I went to the West Jordan temple with green hair and multiple piercings. People were staring at me as if I had brought Satan with me. I didn't expect that kind of reaction-- it wasn't like I was breaking some rule. Actually, I didn't expect a reaction at all. It wasn't an act of rebellion-- I just liked the way it looked, and it was my normal appearance, and I certainly never anticipated that it would be seen as a worthiness issue. As I was leaving, one old dude grabbed my hand and said "It takes all kinds sister, all kinds." and winked. I thought that was neat.
After that I went to the temple in between dye jobs when the color was more readily acceptable to priggish types.
