If this is that great, awesome, bombshell revelation we were promised, well, let's just say I'm glad I didn't bother to drop whatever else I was doing this morning to tune in.
I have to say expectations have been lowered pretty darn far if this is the kind of news that passes for exciting in the church.
I heard through the grapevine that they were planning to announce that from now on members may take two pieces of bread during the sacrament, but they put off announcing that one until next Conference. Too much excitement all at once would scare away the Spirit!
Seems pretty innocuous to me. Some people might not like the tone - but why should that get one banned?
Nothing from a MADmod referred to the banning: one of those silent muggings that the MADboard specializes in, I suppose.
Zadok: I did not have a faith crisis. I discovered that the Church was having a truth crisis. Maksutov: That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.
I mean, we can say this is the same reason you were banned from CAF.
Hobo, I have a homework assignment for you. Why don't you go to youtube and watch some Hazel reruns. These shows are nice right from the early 60's. You may learn some manners from these shows. I think that the aggressive and bitter media of today has gone to your brain. Try Hazel and see what happens. Here I will help you out with a link:
I intend to lay a foundation that will revolutionize the whole world. Joseph Smith We are “to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to provide for the widow, to dry up the tear of the orphan, to comfort the afflicted, whether in this church, or in any other, or in no church at all…” Joseph Smith

What's the matter? You don't like the truth? Oh wait, what am I saying....of course you don't. You're Mormon.
It is so easy for you to tell people how, when, and where they went wrong, but when it comes to your own actions..........well...........it's everybody else's fault, or they're picking on you.
You need to get your head out of that dark brown hole in you backside, and get a clue.

No he's not. He's Mortholic or maybe Cathmon.

He's Mormon, he never has anything good to say about Catholicism or Catholics, always says something negative about it and them and doesn't let a positive statement by others go rebutted. He's a dyed in the wool anti-Catholic. Any claim on his part to being Catholic are just another example of his hypocrisy.

It doesn't matter. You mocked the holy spirit in that post.
Your whole life mocks human beings.

And the part about low expectations is true. If this is the kind of announcement from a prophet that brings on excitement, well that's pathetic.

It doesn't matter. You mocked the holy spirit in that post. It was a stupid post to make. And I think that you know it. Thus, you were banned from that thread. She was enthusiastic but that is only natural for some people. But....your response was just too jerky with the beginning and the yawn.
