My comment was moved to the outer darkness, as a derailment.
This, to there: viewtopic.php?p=644414#p644414
If any of You read it (and try to understand...), You would perceive it as totally on topic.
Should I explain?
OK...
The whining about "Fastest Growing Church" has the same effect as producing a roar sound when one step on the throttle - and listen the roaring without any change of speed.
According to one Hungarian saying :
Nagyobb a füstje, mint a lángja.
Its smoke is bigger than the flame.
('It is not so serious.')
Did You - who has moved my comment (by the way unnamed) - hear anything about Proverbs?

The next step of Ford developers will be a blowing in the driver's face - every time he (the male one!!!) give the gas.
And the 260 million member of the church in 2050.
Warning! This is not offtopic, this is a metaphor...(like this so called derailment)
A metaphor is a literary figure of speech that describes a subject by asserting that it is, on some point of comparison, the same as another otherwise unrelated object. Metaphor is a type of analogy and is closely related to other rhetorical figures of speech that achieve their effects via association, comparison or resemblance including allegory, hyperbole, and simile
Edited to add:
BMW's Active Sound

BMW's Active Sound
This new M5 is equipped with something called Active Sound, a system whereby the engine note is reproduced faithfully through the luxury sedan's fancy-pants Hi-Fi audio system.

son of Ishmael wrote:I wonder if this trend is also true with Latin America as well?
I would say yes, particularly among the growing middle classes, although the trend isn't nearly as pronounced as Europe or the United States.
Also there is still a tremendous stigma against being called, or calling oneself, an atheist. The result is millions of people who are functionally agnostic or atheist without really considering themselves as such.
