Do Mormons who receive priesthood blessings show more favorable outcomes for terminal illness than a non blessed/non Mormon but believe in something control group?

I would postulate: no.

Ex: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15904509

Mormon women have less breast cancer (attributable to lifestyle), but poorer outcomes.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Risking the killing of the thread let me scold science minded fellows for their cowardice.
Jesus Christ plainly taught us how to prove the existence of God. It is both testable and observable. Just because nobody wants to believe it today does not make it less true.

Give me a dozen brave scientist who want to discover God. Please. If they are fearless and will go where no man has gone before, in the last forty years anyways, then let them come to me and I will take them to God.

Will it be easy as turning you life over to Jesus and assuming that you are saved?.......NO!
Will it be easy as growing up in the only true church and receiving all the blessing thereof?.........NO!

It will cause a strain of heart in purposeful intent. It will require that you die to this world in letting go of your free will that is the natural enemy of God. I know Satan has set up lots of phony obnoxiousness where people say they surrender to some sort of representation of god and do stupid and evil things. This is really good strategy to make the REAL sacrifice seem absurd and stupid predisposes the people to recoil and ridicule the entire concept.

But when perfect submission to the will of the Father in taking upon us the name of Jesus Christ works like a charm with perfect and predictable and observable results time after the time the exact same results.................you got proof of God folks

I think science per the God question acts like a bunch of sissy ass pansies for not seeking God where he has already told you he can be found. I mean, come on. highfalutin philosophical banter ain't it. Worlds without end.

I hope God doesn't exist. Having seen Prometheus and read a fair amount of HP Lovecraft, I'd hate to realize that humans are nothing but vermin (or potential food) to the Great Old Ones. So call it wishful thinking, but I throw my support behind Sethbag for purely emotional reasons.

Oh yeah, atheism makes sense to my brain too.

If there is a god, I doubt that he cares about us any more than a 12 year old does with the ant farm his great aunt Ruth gave him.
