Jersey said this is where board business is conducted. Are you saying she can have a wish list but I can't?

I’m asking you to grow up and stop the childish antics. This thread isn’t board business and it isn’t a genuine request for something new.Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 11:19 pmJersey said this is where board business is conducted. Are you saying she can have a wish list but I can't?

Wrong!! I have the same right to start a thread as jersey. If she can discuss board business I can too. The celestial is not a place of positive thought when it comes to religion.Dr Moore wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 11:21 pmI’m asking you to grow up and stop the childish antics. Let's have a positive place for posters who still believe in God and want to discuss religion without being bombarded by left wing lunatics. If you don't like that, guess what, I don't care.

Might I answer your question with a question? How many "positive religious" threads have you started, particularly in the forum that lends it self to civil discourse?Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 11:18 pmHonest question. Are there any positive religious threads on this board?

I hope Shades reads this. If you go to MD&d, I started plenty of positive threads, personal and religious. Positive religious threads can't be started here without the poster being called an idiot or stupid within a few post. For Christ sake, there's six forums now, are you telling me one can't be a positive place for the religious folks around here. Are you guys that butthurt over Mormonism?

I'm not interested in your history at MD&D or that board at all, I am talking about here and each of our behaviors here. I've read quite a lot in the Celestial forum over the years, plenty of threads from believers and not. I'd argue that forum has one of the longest track records of facilitating deep and profound discussion.Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 11:36 pmI hope Shades reads this. The goal of this site is not to be a positive or negative place for religion per se, but instead a place for everyone to freely and fairly voice their take. If that means you say something in, someone else gets to say they disagree and why (you're obviously very aware of this as you made it a personal game of replying back in Paradise). The forums are mostly designed to control the tone of dialouge, lack of current moderation aside.
Again, I think if you want to start a positive thread in Celestial I think you should give it a go. You might be surprised. I was able to start what I thought was a very positive thread in Spirit Paradise. To each their own I guess.

Celestial. Others have started say, Christian exclusive related threads there. Bible scripture threads. It's totally kosher to do so.
