I saw this post and read it....
Then you know the law now. I'm glad, and I'm sure your kids' town appreciates it too.
We live in the same city. We live in a retirement community within that city. Our community doesn’t have recycling services, just trash.

Hope this helps.

Sheesh.

Seriously? You said your community does NOT have recycling privileges, so there is no integrity in taking advantage of those homeowners whose taxes do support the service. For someone who likes to lecture people on how you think their lives lack integrity because they don’t believe in god, you’re setting quite the dishonest example.

But why bring it up yet again? Weren’t you interested in not derailing?

To that end there was something from analytics that deserves a second look
I’m sure there are people out there like Cardon Ellis who can function better with an imaginary father giving them purpose, guiding their life, and assuring them everything turns out rosy in the end. If somebody really needs that to function, then let them have it. It reminds me of somebody I once saw on TikTok who made the same argument about drugs and all the lives that meth has actually saved—how many people would have committed suicide without it? If that’s what somebody needs, I’ll try to have empathy and not judge. But it seems better not to become addicted to such things in the first place.

In any case, for me and my house, we choose reality.
An Interesting point about how far addiction can reach.

Just asking…are you a sock puppet for Lemmie? Man, you sound and act a LOT like her and I don’t think she’s been around much lately as Lemmie. Almost the same exact posting style.

Just asking. My gosh, if you’re not her you could almost be a clone. Almost a mirror image in your ability, or should I say compunction, to make mountains out of mole hills.

if you want to keep asserting that stealing services is okay with your god, then let’s move on

Apparently that’s a NO.

I don’t have any problem with periodically taking some recyclables to our daughter’s recycling container rather than going to the recycling center. The recycling company is going to come and empty her container anyway. We might as well help fill it up.

Sheesh.

Man, you look for ‘garbage’…pun intended. Would you do that if I was a fellow nonbeliever. I doubt it. Are you done?

(this is what I get for not ignoring you and the secret pleasure you have in wasting someone’s time with insignificant criticisms)

I think you know very well who Lemmie is. Hmmm…

I could be wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.

We’re done with recycling now, right? Unless you believe that in this particular case recycling your questions/criticisms is accomplishing something productive on a Mormon discussion board.

Wow. Nope. It is illegal to shift your recycling to another town where you don’t have privileges. Period. What you are doing is ILLEGAL. Every municipality has that written into their code.

Now, back to the non-derailing:

Page seven on this thread could be split off over to another discussion area of this board. Sorry this went south.

I take partial responsibility.
