How do you think the author learned of the couple, whose marriage will likely have been old news within their family and friends and ward as it was a few years ago? The author is more likely to have come across them if they, the couple, had been actively putting their story “out there” more recently.Res Ipsa wrote: ↑Wed Jan 04, 2023 5:22 pmThe article is written on the "her" website by some guy whose profile includes no information. His other articles are on a variety of topics that don't have the LDS church as a theme. If they sought to "come out" publicly, how is it they found an an anonymous writer on an obscure website? I suspect the author somehow learned of the couple and thought it would make an interesting story. I don't interpret the article as an effort on their part to "justify" their marriage. Typically, the author sets the editorial slant through the questions they choose to ask.
(Apologies but I have to pull at threads, it’s my “thing”. Trying to get to the bottom of things. Puzzle solving etc. it’s what lead me out of Mormonism!)
