Not with the church. As I said earlier it is mainly composed of members of the church that are somewhere along the spectrum of activity. But everyone excepted.
I like that. As you should also. In my opinion anyway.
Obviously those that participate in Faith Matters are not Scientologists.
You really haven’t checked it out much, have you? Have you actually listened to any podcasts, etc.?

Faith Matters got sucked in to the debate of John D’s a Faith Crisis. Faith Matters fell for it. It was never a Faith Crisis it was a God crisis. So Faith Matters should actually be called God Mattters. But the leaders of the church fell for it and took the bait. Now they have billions to pump into a website Faith Matters.

I’ve asked others whether or not Faith Matters is a new way that members with issues/concerns are approaching the intersection between faith and doubt…and whether or not this is a positive thing.
I think it is. Critics, at least from what I’m gathering, seem to disagree.
Many folks are now seeing Faith Matters as an alternative to, let’s say, Mormon Stories for example. Or boards/blogs that take a decidedly negative view/approach to apologetics and/or the LDS Church.

I could certainly see that. There are many religions that consider themselves to be the "true" church. What church do you think "faith matters" associates themselves with?

So, in my opinion Faith Matters is not a legitimate reference. There are so many other legitimate sources of accurate information, let people begin by learning the truth.
